Q: What kind of payments do you accept?
A: Currently, Scott Rubey Photography accepts credit card payments through Pay Pal. Pay Pal is a secure system that is used by many online merchants. If for any reason you would prefer to pay using a different method, or do not feel comfortable using Pay Pal, other arrangements can absolutely be accommodated. Simply send a message by selecting the “Contact” link at the top of this page.Q: What are your shipping and sales policies?
A: Fine Art Prints are priced for print alone, to allow flexibility in matting and framing options. Prints are all open edition, and are signed by the artist upon request. Please allow 4-6 weeks for shipping, as each print is crafted upon order. In order to avoid heat and humidity damage from extended periods in trucks or warehouses, all prints are shipped flat via Fed Ex 2nd-Day Air.
Q: What if my print is damaged during shipping?
A: If your print is damaged during shipping, file a claim with the shipper and contact Scott Rubey Photography. Arrangements will be made to ship you a new print as soon as possible.
Q: Are photographs in the “Other Images” gallery available for purchase?
A: Photographs in the “Other Images” gallery may be available as prints in certain sizes. Because these are only prepared upon request, an additional fee and shipping time may apply. Images in both the “Fine Art Prints” and “Other Images” galleries are available for stock use; prices vary based on type of use and file size requested. Please feel free to email any inquiries regarding specific images using the “Contact” link above.
Q: Will my print look the way it does on my computer screen?
A: Most people find that the final print looks as good--often better--than what they see on their computer screen. Because all monitors are calibrated differently, what you see on this website will often differ slightly even from one computer to the next. Scott and his printmaker each work in highly calibrated environments to ensure the greatest level of color accuracy from the initial scan to the final print.
Q: Is Scott available for hire?
A: Absolutely! If you or your company require the services of a nature/adventure sports photographer, you may contact him through this website or at scott@scottrubey.com to discuss the project and pricing. Scott is not a people photographer in the context of weddings or portraits; however, he has experience shooting adventure athletes and landscapes under natural lighting environments and in harsh conditions. His schedule can be busy between field outings and other business-related commitments, so please contact him well in advance of your proposed project.
